With the July Festival just around the corner, it looks like the July Race Course won’t be the only place that the crowds will be descending upon. Here at the Museum we have a jammed packed weekend scheduled with events suitable for everyone.
July Festival Tipster Breakfast
Thursday 11th & Friday 12th July | 10.30am – 12pm | Tickets £25 per person
Kick start your Festival weekend with a Tipster Breakfast in the beautiful Rothschild Yard situated in the Museum grounds, overlooked by our resident ex-racehorses. Taking place on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th July, enjoy a delicious breakfast and glass of Bucks Fizz from The Tack Room, accompanied by Racing TV Broadcaster, Nick Luck, who’ll provide you with the lowdown on the day’s runners.
Household Cavalry Band Performance
Friday 12th July | 6pm – 7.30pm | Tickets £25 per person
On Friday 12th July, the Museum will play host to the Household Cavalry Band for a very special evening performance. Famous worldwide for their outstanding ceremonial pageantry and gallantry on the battlefield, the Household Cavalry musicians will perform a mix of classics, regimental marches, trumpet calls and much more – it’s sure to be a truly memorable performance.
This event is in support of the Household Cavalry Foundation.
After the event, finish your evening by booking a table at the Tack Room.
Time for Tea with our Shetland Ponies
Saturday 13th July | 1pm – 2.30pm OR 3pm – 4.30pm | Tickets £10 per person
The Museum is excited to offer you the opportunity to join them for an ultra-special tea party. You’ll have the chance to meet our new Museum Minis, Kizzy and Harry, whilst enjoying a tea and cupcake. Not forgetting the perfect photo opportunity you’ll have during your meet and greet session with these two adorable Shetlands.
Songs for a Summer’s Evening
Sunday 14th July | 5.30pm – 7pm | Tickets £10 per person
Newmarket Community Choir will be taking to the floor in the Rothschild Yard, with a musical performance suitable for a summer’s evening. You can expect to hear a variety of musical numbers, including contemporary and classical pieces with something for everyone to join in with!
