The Racehorse: Past & Future

This exhibition has closed.

The National Horseracing Museum is pleased to bring you this exhibition in collaboration with Anne Ward, an established artist specialising in portraits of horses and dogs. She is based in Newmarket and has a lifelong passion for horseracing.

In this exhibition Anne has reflected upon the lives and achievements of ten wonderful, retired racehorses. As a counterpoint to this, she has also created ten pictures of foals that represent the hopes and dreams of future champions.

Based in Trainers House, this exhibition runs from 17th September 2022 until 19th February 2023. It features portraits of past stars of the racecourse, including Sire De Grugy, Big Buck’s, Prince of Arran and Ouija Board.
